Pixiv Archive 2018 to March 2022
So I decided to go through my Pixiv uploads and pull down everything I’ve posted there since I created my account to back up here. While I was at it I went ahead and exported uncensored versions of the censored items I had posted on there. I also went ahead and added in two items I had originally only posted on a gaming forum I’m a member of way back in 2016 back before I created my account.
Most of these pieces are beyond crap I know, and generally speaking they don’t make good for reference of quality of work I can actually produce. But I regularly see posts online from people who say things like “Art is this special talent a select few are born with. If you aren’t as good as that person over there now, you will never stand a chance of ever being as good as them no matter how hard you try.” So I figured if I posted these pieces here of where I started, and then continued uploading my improved quality of work pieces over time, I could maybe someday point to that and say, “if you try, even you can get here from there.” Because honestly most of the time you DON’T get to see where these so called genius artists started from.
On a side note, the story behind those two I posted on a gaming forum. I was working on a VN at the time, and I was thinking to myself I could possibly have a chance of drawing all the art back then instead of commissioning it. Laughable huh? VN itself never came to fruition, but it was me trying to write a story connected to something I wrote a good 20 years ago. A story I’ve been trying to rework over and over and over again these past 20 years. Eventually I’ll get somewhere with it.
